Charles Veitch, also known as Charlie Veitch (born March 11, 1978) is a British filmmaker, Youtuber and former conspiracy theorist.[2][3]

Life

Veitch was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1978 to a wealthy family in the oil business. He attended the University of Edinburgh where he got an honours philosophy degree.[4][2] He joined the Territorial Army before working at HBOS until the financial crisis made him redundant, where he then did full-time filmmaking.[2][5] Veitch was a former prominent figure among Britain's conspiracy theorists where he was recognized as a 9/11 "truther". In 2013, Veitch went on the BBC conspiracy road trip and later confessed he didn't believe 9/11 was fake anymore.[2][6][7] His decision to denounce the 9/11 conspiracy theories draw backlash from predominant conspiracy theorists like Alex Jones and David Icke. He also received death threats.[5]
